NLS
3 Toyota cars on the podium; Akshay Gupta shines in qualifying at NLS2
It was a strong showing for Toyota across classes at the NLS2. The highest-placed Toyota was the TOYOTA GAZOO ROOKIE Racing Supra Evo GT4 in SP8T, finishing P36 overall and 4th in class, driven by Naoya Gamoya, Tatsuya Kataoka, Takamitsu Matsui, and Masahiro Sasaki. Meanwhile, Masaaki Hatano piloted the 519 Toyota Supra to a 3rd place finish in VT2-RWD out of 11 cars. In SP10(AM), Toyo Tires with Ring Racing’s Supra GT4, driven by Takayuki Kinoshita, Michael Tischner, and Heiko Tönges, also claimed 3rd in class.
Akshay Gupta had a standout qualifying, helping the 491 Merten’s Motorsport Hyundai i30 line up P2 in VT2-F+4WD. Sadly, the race came to an early end for the team, with Daniel Merten involved in a heavy crash less than a lap into the demanding 23km+ Nurburging.
British F4
Yuhao “Felix” Fu endures tough British F4 weekend with early exit in race 2

Yuhao “Felix” Fu qualified 17th and 16th for the British F4. The Chinese driver with Xcel Motorsport had a torrid race 1, slipping 3 places from 16th on the grid with a lap down. Come Sunday for the reverse grid race 2, Fu’s run ended in Lap 1 after contact with teammate Cole Hewetson as a result of a domino effect of Ella Lloyd’s contact.
Super Taikyu
Seven x Seven Porsche wins after Sunday charge at Fuji 5-hour endurance

Sunday’s Fuji 5-hour endurance kicked off with 51 cars on the grid across 8 categories. After starting P3, the No. 666 Seven x Seven Porsche GT3R, driven by BANKCY, Kiyoto Fujinami, Tsubasa Kondo, and Taichi Watarai, put in a strong performance to take the overall win. Following closely were Craft-Bamboo Racing’s AMG GT3 and D'station Racing’s Vantage GT3, rounding out the ST-X and overall podium.
In the other classes, the SYNTIUM Apple KTM took P1 in ST1 after a tight battle, while Saitama GB’s GR Supra GT4 EVO2 claimed the win in ST-Z. OKABEJIDOSHA’s Fairlady Z34 dominated ST3 by completing 115 laps, while Subaru’s HighPerformanceX Future Concept led the 4-car ST-Q field. Odula TONE Motul Roadster RF and Maple Hiroshima Mazda Roadster topped ST4 and ST5R respectively, with Yamato Fit clinching the ST5F category win.
Saturday’s qualifying set the grid, with Craft-Bamboo Racing claiming pole position after a strong combined effort by Lee Jeffrey and Kakunoshin Ota, ahead of D’station Racing and Seven x Seven Porsche.
FIM Asian Road Racing Championship
FIM Asia Road Racing Championship kicks off in Thailand with thrilling battles across 5 categories

The 2025 FIM Asia Road Racing Championship roared to life at the Chang International Circuit with over 90 riders competing across UB150, AP250, SS600, ASB1000, and the TVS One Make Championship.
In ASB1000, Thai rider Nakarin Atiratphuvapat dominated both races, finishing ahead of Malaysia’s Muhammad Zaqhwan Zaidi. The SS600 category saw Mohammad Adenanta Putra take the first race win, before Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin claimed victory in Race 2, with Putra rounding out the podium in third.
The biggest category, AP250, saw Fadillah Arbi Aditama take a clean sweep, winning both races while fending off challenges from Krittapat Keankum and Candra H. In the fiercely competitive UB150 class, Husni Zainul Fuadzy narrowly edged out the field in Race 1, while Gupita Kresna Wardhana clinched Race 2 by just 0.3s.
In the TVS One Make Championship, riding the TVS Apache RR310, Hiroki Ono won Race 1 in a close battle against Md Ramdan Rosli. Race 2 saw an all-Indian finish with Sarthak Chavan and Chiranth Vishwanath crossing the line within a tenth of each other, making it a standout result for the Indian riders.
BTCC
Daryl DeLeon shows steady pace at Donington BTCC debut with P16 finish in race 1

Daryl DeLeon, the British-Filipino racing driver started his weekend in Donington Park in the BTCC with a 19th place in free-practice 1 and improved by 3 tenths into FP2. The 19-year old got knocked out in the first part of qualifying but maintained his pace to finish P16 in the first race.
IAME Asia Series
Thrills and rain as the IAME Asia Series returns for round 2

The IAME Asia Series made its return for Round 2 at the LYL International Karting Circuit, with 76 drivers across 4 categories taking on a wet and challenging weekend. Despite rain in the air, the competition was intense across every session, delivering non-stop action.
In the Cadet category, Austria’s Maximilian Schilling (FA Kart - AutoInc Racing) emerged victorious after a composed drive. In the Junior category, Singapore’s Conrad Garrow (Carlos Sainz chassis - Rad Racing) claimed the win. Hong Kong’s Kimi Chan (Parolin - DRM Racing Team) took top honors in the Senior category, while in the Master category, Thailand’s Werasak Aiemwichan (Top One Motorsport by NRT) sealed the victory.
DTM
Jack Aitken and Arjun Maini battle through a challenging DTM season opener

The DTM season opener saw Jack Aitken put in a strong showing for Emil Frey Racing. After posting 16th and 8th fastest times in free practice, he delivered an impressive lap in Qualifying 1 to line up P6 on the grid and maintained that position through the race to secure a solid P6 finish. In Race 2, however, an uncharacteristic qualifying result of P19 meant a tougher race day, but Aitken fought back to finish P14 and picked up valuable points.
Arjun Maini’s weekend with HRT Ford Performance was all about incremental performance gains. After ending the practice sessions in P18 and P15, he qualified 19th for Race 1 but battled through to finish 15th and score a point. In Race 2, Maini started P20 and recovered to P16, narrowly missing out on points.
South India Rally
Karna Kadur Leads ARKA 1-2 as INRC and APRC Kick Off 2025 at South India Rally

The Indian National Rally Championship returned for 2025 with the South India Rally at the Madras International Circuit along with the second round of the Asia Pacific Rally Championship. It was a ARKA Motorsports 1-2 in both series classifications with Karna Kadur/Musa Sherif leading the pack followed by Amrittrajith Ghosh/Ashwin Naik in INRC1 and APRC.
Fabid Ahmer/Milen George of Chettinad Sporting claimed their class win in INRC2 and third overall with Pragathi Gowda/Chandra Mouli finishing P2 a minute behind the winners and fourth overall.
Snap Racing’s Arnav Singh/Rohit Nagraj brought home the class win in INRC3 along with a strong P4 finish in the APRC. 11 seconds behind, Vishakh B/Chiranth Jain finished P2
RMC Euro Trophy
Shun and Mir Show Potential as RMC Euro Trophy Kicks Off

The 2025 RMC Euro Trophy season kicked off at Prokart Raceland, Germany, with strong performances and tough lessons. In Rotax Junior, Japan’s Sekiguchi Shun looked quick all weekend, starting the final from P2 but slipping to P8 by the end. It was a harder round for Stienmonkong Panu, who was disqualified from the pre final, and Tseng Eason, who failed to qualify for the main race.
In the Rotax Mini, Atiqa Mir showed steady improvement. After a tough qualifying, she fought from P31 to P14 in the final, gaining 17 places and showing real promise for the season ahead. Despite mixed results, there were clear signs of potential as the championship moved forward.
Ginetta Junior
Ee Finds Progress at Silverstone in Ginetta Junior Round 2

After a challenging season opener at Donington, Katrina Ee showed signs of progress during Round 2 of the 2025 Ginetta Junior Championship at Silverstone. Despite continuing struggles in qualifying, where she placed P23 after battling track limits, she remained determined to learn and adapt.
Katrina managed to grab a point with a P20 finish in the second race of the weekend, marking a small but important step forward. Although she couldn’t build further on that momentum, it was a mixed but encouraging weekend as she continues to grow in confidence behind the wheel.
MotoGP/Moto2/Moto3
Ogura Battles Back, Yamanaka and Furusato Shine in Spanish Moto Weekend

After a tough weekend in Qatar, Ai Ogura had a slow start in Spain too, placing P14 and P17 in free practice. But he turned things around with a P5 in Q1 and a P12 finish in the sprint. In the main race, starting from P15, he fought hard to finish P8 and picked up solid points for the championship. Meanwhile, Somkiat Chantra’s struggles continued—he finished P20 in the sprint and later retired from the main race, capping another difficult weekend.
It was another rough outing for the Japanese riders in Moto2. Yuki Kunii and Ayumu Sasaki both struggled in free practice, with Kunii salvaging a P8 in Q1 but only starting P22. He climbed to P16 in the race, narrowly missing out on points. Sasaki didn’t qualify for the main race and crashed out after starting at the back. Indonesia’s Mario Suryo Aji also had a tough weekend, dislocating his shoulder and being ruled unfit to race.
In contrast, the Japanese riders had a stronger weekend in Moto3. Ryusei Yamanaka and Taiyo Furusato both improved through the sessions, qualifying P5 and P8 respectively. Yamanaka held steady to finish P5, while Furusato moved up two spots to claim P6. Furusato’s teammate, Tatchakorn Buasri, also had a breakthrough—starting P19 and finishing P15 to score his first points of the season.
International GT Open
Bennett displays consistent weekend in a competitive field with AF Corse PRO

Race 1
After a relatively consistent showing in practice sessions, they began the competitive weekend by Qualifying 8th overall, but 6th in the PRO category with a gap of 3.644 seconds, showing how close the field was. They placed 7th in Race 1 with a time of 1:11:03.
Race 2
Qualifying for Race 2 however, proved to be a setback. They qualified 12th in The PRO Category but 18th overall. The gap between the leader in PRO category was 7.053 seconds which showcases how competitive the field was and made a good comeback on the final day of the weekend by finishing 4th in category with a time of 1:00:07 with the winner setting a time of 0:59:59.
Toyota Racing Festival
The TGR-Vios Racing Festival kicked off its 8th season

The TGR Vios Racing Festival is a one-make touring car racing series held in Malaysia, where all competitors race in Toyota Vios cars. It's part of Toyota's broader motorsport initiative to engage the public and develop grassroots racing in the region. Following are the race results:

GB3
Asian drivers of the GB3 Championship show strong points-finishing results

GB3 Round 1 began at Silverstone from 24th - 27th April where Asian drivers showed a strong points finishing performance across both races in a competitive grid. While Biance Bustamante and Dion Gowda had a rather difficult weekend comparatively, their qualifying performances display strong pace over one lap and hope to return stronger for Round 2 at Zandvoort.
FIA World Karting
Multiple Asian karters show consistency in delivering results for FIA-World Karting Championship

Asian Karters in the OK and OK-J categories showed increasing pace and consistency throughout multiple different karting sessions over the weekend, with Endo Arata’s performance shining out of all.
GB4
Alexandros Kattoulas and Ary Bansal show stellar pace in GB4
Alex Kattoulas recorded the quickest time for the qualifying rounds at Silverstone and secured his first two pole positions, after being 0.159s clear of teammate Isaac Phelps and converted pole into a win for Race 1, in spite of a bad wheelspin off the line and going three-wide into turn one.Alex built a lead of 1.4 seconds after strongly fending off his teammates and continued to build his lead throughout the race, and took the chequered flag 6.5 seconds off teammate Ary Bansal. Kattoulas made it four different winners from the first four races of the season and took the championship lead as a result of his victory in Race 1. Kattoulas finished 2nd in Race 2 after putting pressure on Isaac Phelps the entire race. Race 3 proved to be unlucky for Kattoulas due to an incident in the last lap, finishing at 20th. Alex now stands 3rd in the overall championship.
Ary Bansal qualified P4, just 2 tenths off teammate Kattoulas and was able to finish Race 1 with a P2 on the podium after a good start off the line and Luke Hilton being forced across the run off at Maggots and Becketts. Ary Bansal secured a P3 in the second qualifying round and was able to maintain the position after a mistake while trying to get the win. Ary had a strong race to move up from ninth on the grid to eventually finish in fourth. Ary now stands 4th in the overall championship.
