After dominating the previous rounds, Daffa Budiharjo took the top step of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Indonesia once more, ahead of Yuey Tan and Hu Bo in the overall class. The Indonesian cleared the rest of the field by winning by over 25.3 seconds ahead of Tan. Despite coming home second overall, Tan was classified as the winner of the Pro-Am class ahead of Bo. Hendrik Jaya Soewatdy did not start Round 3 due to the damage to his No. 11 car from the previous race.
Budiharjo had a great launch in the beginning and quickly made a breathing room between himself and the second place and fellow Pro classman David Djaja. Djaja was soon overtaken by Tan.
After failing to qualify for Q3 previously, Bo quickly recovered the lost ground and found himself in third by overtaking Luckas Dwinanda and Djaja. Over the course of the 25-minute race, the battle for second place was the centre of attention in the garage. Near the closing stages, Tan defended his place well and endured the relentless attack from Bo, and sealed second place by around 0.300s. Todd Kingsford was classified as the GT4 race winner. Djaja lamented his fourth-place finish due to a mistake with the tyre strategy and vows to bounce back as the series returns to Mandalika in July.
