Round 3 - In commanding fashion: Tadasuke Makino takes second win of the season in Moetegi

In Round 3, it was an all-Dandelion front row after qualifying, with Makino taking pole ahead of teammate Ohta. The team converted their advantage into a commanding 1-2 finish, with Makino and Ohta locked in a close battle throughout the race. Igor Fraga (Ponos Nakajima Racing) completed the podium in third after a solid drive from P3 on the grid.
Makino won by a margin of 2.6 seconds to claim his fourth career victory. With Ohta managing to hang in second, DOCOMO TEAM DANDELION RACING got to celebrate their first 1-2 finish since 2012, marking it the fifth consecutive victory for the Kyoto Prefecture-based team since last year.
In only his second race weekend, Fraga took a maiden podium finish in third, while also being voted as Driver of the Race by the fans on SFgo. Tsuboi saw the checkered flag in fourth after starting from P12 on the grid. The reigning champion was the last driver to change tires, opting for an alternate strategy after dropping to P14 at the start. Following his pit stop, Tsuboi saw himself in 7th, when he plowed through the field, showing a great recovery run. Fukuzumi completed the top 5. Fenestraz recovered from his slow start on P8, scoring his first championship points since returning to SUPER FORMULA, one position ahead of Nojiri and Oshima. 19-year-old Rikuto Kobayashi (ITOCHU ENEX WECARS TEAM IMPUL), who’s filling in for the injured Oliver Rasmussen, finished his first career race on P16.
