Bringing the world's best karting talent onto a single platform in Asia, the RMC International Trophy Asia (fka RMC Asia Festival) was back in action this weekend, boasting a large grid across 5 categories.
Bira Kart Circuit
2025 RMC International Trophy Asia
The championship took place over 3 days at the Bira Kart Circuit with entries worldwide. The stars of the show in each category are below:

1. Mini Max
In the Mini Category, Jef Verbeke took P1 with a massive 4.2 seconds from Peerapongpan Sutumno with Patthapol Keawkarnjanasat finishing a very close P3 only 0.2s behind the Thai in 2nd.
2. Micro Max
Chinnaphat Vejabhuti successfully defends against Hiro Tse, winning the Micro category with 2.3s. The podium is completed by Singaporean, Maxmilian Schilling.
3. Junior Max
Successfully defending his title from 2024, Shun Seki Guchi has clinched the junior title just 1.3s ahead of Panu Steinmonkong and Hamish Campbell. Shun lead every lap of the race to take the victory.
4. Senior Max
In the fiercely competitive senior category with over 50 entries, the Japanese driver Tomoki Terashima led comfortably from Thailand’s Austin Gale. 5.6s covered the top 3 with Armand Hamilton rounding up the podium.
5. DD2
Taiwanese driver Sheng-ya Hong keeps Finnish champion Axel Saarniala and Krish Gupta from India at bay in DD2, winning by 2.2 seconds in the shifter karts.
