Meanwhile, reigning champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) salvaged a solid third, ensuring valuable early-season points despite being unable to challenge for the win.

Marquez was in control from the moment the lights went out but slowed down due to unconfirmed tyre pressure issues behind Alex on lap 6 and maintained position till 3 laps to go, when he reclaimed his lead. Alex Marquez slotted into second, with Bagnaia keeping close in third. A highlight of the weekend was Trackhouse MotoGP Team’s Ai Ogura who put on a stellar qualifying and briefly found himself in podium contention after a lightning start, but the Japanese rider was soon shuffled back.
