Isaac Seah and Sukhmani Khera show strong running in the British Kart Championship (IAME)

British Kart Championship Round 1&2

An action packed 2 rounds of the British Kart Championships kicked off at Warden Law with Isaac Seah and Sukhmani Khera leading the Asian representation with strong finishes. Seah secured two podiums in races albeit a 10s post-race penalty dropped him down to 10th. Khera enjoyed a consistent run of performances finishing P5 and P7 in both rounds.

Isaac Seah

Isaac delivered strong results, consistently placing in the top 10. He secured 4th in QP1, QP3, and Heat 3, and 2nd in Heat 5 and Heat 6. His final classification for Race 1 (4th) and Race 2 (3rd) earned competitive grid spots. In Final 1, he finished 3rd, but got relegated to 10th after receiving an unfortunate 5 second penalty. On Sunday, with competitive racing throughout the day, he took home a strong P2.

Sukhmani Khera 

Sukhmani showed a varying performance, achieving 3rd in QP4, Qualification 1, and Heat 1. Her final classification for Race 1 (8th) and Race 2 (13th) reflected solid grid positions. Khera placed 5th in Final 1 and 7th in Final 2, bringing in strong results and points.

Mayaan Patel

Mayaan  struggled for top positions, with 9th in QP1 and QP3 as his best qualifying results. He placed 10th in Heat 2 but dropped to 16th in Heat 6. His final classification for Race 1 (16th) and Race 2 (15th) led to mid-field grids. Patel finished 15th in both Final 1 and Final 2.

Sosuke Maeda 

Sosuke faced challenges, with a best of 14th in QP4 and Heat 2. Heat results ranged from 14th to 17th. His final classification for Race 1 (24th) and Race 2 (26th) resulted in lower grid spots. Sosuke placed 21st in Final 1 and 19th in Final 2, showing slight improvement.
