F1: Albon Delivers in Miami, Tsunoda Holds Steady in Eventful Weekend

For Alex Albon, the weekend was a standout display of pace and perseverance for Williams Racing. After a strong P5 in FP1, Albon impressed again in Sprint Qualifying, securing P8. He then crossed the line an incredible P4 in the Sprint Race, only to be demoted to P11 after a five-second penalty for speeding behind the Safety Car. A minor pit lane incident in Grand Prix Qualifying didn’t stop him from securing a solid P7, and he bounced back in style on race day, finishing P5—matching the team’s best result in recent memory and confirming Williams’ upward trajectory.
Yuki Tsunoda, meanwhile, had a mixed weekend with Red Bull Racing. He opened with a decent P8 in FP1. Unfortunately, Sprint Qualifying ended in frustration as Tsunoda failed to cross the line in time for a final lap, leaving him P18. He recovered well with a P6 finish in the Sprint, and after qualifying P10 for the main race, he brought home another point-scoring P10 finish.

F1Academy: Chambers Shines on Home Soil, Heartbreak for Chong in Weather-Hit Miami Weekend
Round 3 of the F1 Academy in Miami served up a weekend of promise, mixed fortunes, and unpredictable weather for drivers Chloe Chambers and Chloe Chong, both representing Asian heritage on the grid.
Chloe Chambers of Campos Racing stole the spotlight early, showing strong pace with P5 and P2 finishes in the two practice sessions. She then delivered a stellar lap in a rain-threatened qualifying session to secure her second consecutive pole, thanks to being first out as storm clouds loomed. Her early 2:00.458 benchmark proved unbeatable as conditions worsened.
In Race 1, despite starting from P8 due to the reverse grid format, Chambers made up four places in the opening lap and maintained her pace to secure a P3 podium finish.
Meanwhile, Chloe Chong of Rodin Motorsport had a more turbulent weekend. After consistent P10s in practice, she struggled in qualifying, landing P14. Her race ended prematurely after a collision with Joanne Ciconte damaged the steering on her Charlotte Tilbury-liveried car, forcing both drivers to retire and triggering a late-race Safety Car.
Race 2, where Chambers was again set to start on pole, was ultimately postponed due to deteriorating weather conditions. Safety rightly took priority, though Chambers still earned two bonus points for her pole position.
