Asian Karters take on the La Conca Circuit for WSK’s Super Master Series
The WSK Karting Championship is a crucial stepping stone for aspiring drivers aiming to progress to professional motorsport. Here's how the next gen of Asian talent fared in Round 1:

1. Atiqa Mir (MINI GR.3)

Atiqa Mir's performance throughout the competition displayed a mix of strong showings and challenges. In the initial qualifying session, she secured a respectable 15th position. However, the eliminatory heats presented significant hurdles. In the first heat, she experienced a significant setback, dropping 13 positions due to being pushed off the track and crashing at Turn 1. She improved her position by 4 places, further solidifying in heat A-D with a gain of one position. However, the final qualifying heats proved challenging, with finishes of 41st and 40th. She secured a starting position of 21st in the pre-final A race and moved up to 16th, however, fell just shy of qualifying for the final race.
2. Linghan Li (MINI GR.3)
Linghan Li started with a strong 5th place finish in QPS2. In the eliminatory heats, he showed significant improvement. In Heat B-D, he gained 7 positions, finishing 7th. In Heat A-D, he gained 14 positions, finishing 12th.
3. Endo Arata [OK-J]

In the OKJ category, Endo Arata demonstrated a strong start, securing 5th place in the QPS2 session. He continued this positive performance in the eliminatory heats, finishing 6th in Heat A-B and 4th in Heat C-D. This consistent performance culminated in a strong finish in the Prefinal B, where he achieved a commendable 4th place. Endo finished the first round of The WSK in 10th place.
4. Qarrar Firhand [OK-J]
Qarrar Firhand competed in two eliminatory heats. In Heat B-D, he finished 12th, losing two positions. In Heat A-D, he faced a more significant setback, dropping 15 places to finish 25th.
5. Jagrat Detroja [OK-J]
Detroja Jagrat started the OKJ category with a 19th place finish in QPS2. In the Eliminatory Heat B-D, he improved his position by 4 places, finishing 15th. Detroja finished 30th in the final round.
6. Jiang Houzai Results [OK-J]

Jiang Hou Zai started with a 26th-place finish in QPS2. In the eliminatory heats, he showed a significant improvement. In Heat B-D, he gained 12 positions, finishing 14th. This strong performance continued in Heat A-D, where he gained another 14 positions to finish 12th. In the final round, Jiang finished in the 23rd position.
