Asian Karters take on Round 4 of WSK’s Super Master Series

The WSK Karting Championship is a crucial stepping stone for aspiring drivers aiming to progress to professional motorsport. Here's how the next gen of Asian talent fared in Round 4:

The second to last round of the Supermaster series saw a more consistent run of form where Linghan Li from the Mini Gr.3 category and Jiang Hou Zhai from the OK-J category had the best results.

1. Atiqa Mir (MINI GR.3)

Atiqa displayed resilience throughout the weekend, delivering consistent results. Despite qualifying in 70th position, she showed steady performances in the heat sessions, finishing in the top 25 multiple times. She concluded the weekend with a strong 27th-place finish in the Pre-Final session.

2. Linghan Li (MINI GR.3)

Li demonstrated remarkable consistency in the Mini Gr.3 category, producing some of his best results. He had a strong qualifying session, securing 15th place. Despite facing challenges in the heats, he managed to achieve his best result with a 14th-place finish in the Pre-Final B round and ultimately ended the weekend in 20th position.

3. Qarrar Firhand [OK-J]

Qarrar Firhand faced a challenging weekend, initially qualifying in 21st place. However, he displayed an excellent recovery during the heats, moving up from P25 to finish 7th in the final heat round. In the finals, he staged another strong comeback, climbing from the back of the grid to finish in P23.

4. Jiang Houzai [OK-J]

Houzhai Jiang displayed consistent performances throughout the weekend. After qualifying 26th, he made a remarkable recovery, delivering strong results across multiple sessions. His best performance was a 4th-place finish in Heats C-D, and he ended the weekend impressively in 14th place after starting from the back of the grid.

5. Chang Felix (MINI GR.3)

Chang Felix had a tough weekend but showcased impressive recovery. After qualifying 24th, he gained seven positions in the heats, with his best result being 16th in Heat C-D.

6. Kim Minjae (MINI GR.3)

Kim Minjae encountered a challenging weekend, qualifying in 27th place. His best heat result was 18th in Heats A-B. However, he showed strong recovery and finished 22nd in the Pre-Final A.

7. Sini Rito M [OK-J]

Sini Rito had a difficult weekend but showed great determination. He finished 14th in Heats A-B and staged an impressive comeback after dropping to 52nd in the Eliminatory Heats, ultimately finishing in 33rd place.
