The 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship (FRMEC) kicked off in Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, with thrilling action overall.
1. Kanato Le

The 17-year-old from Japan clinched victory in Race 2 after converting reverse grid pole into a commanding win. Le added P7 finishes in Races 1 and 3, marking a strong start to his Formula Regional campaign.
2. Enzo Deligny

Joining Le among the top-performing Asian drivers was Enzo Deligny, the Chinese-French Red Bull Junior, who claimed P3 in Race 2. He also secured valuable points with P8 and P11 finishes in Races 1 and 3, respectively.
3. Akshay Bohra

Race GP’s Akshay Bohra endured a challenging weekend, with external factors leading to a P15 finish in Race 1 and retirements in Races 2 and 3.
4. Aditya Kulkarni

For the newly formed Akcel GP, Aditya Kulkarni showed promise with a standout P12 finish in Race 3, though he struggled in the first two races, ending P21 and P18.
4. Jaden Pariat

Also racing for Akcel GP, Jaden Pariat, making his FR debut, finished P23, P17, and P20 across the weekend, picking up a 5-second penalty in Race 3 for track limits.
5. Jin Nakamura

Jin Nakamura of Race GP had a consistent weekend, finishing in the points in all three races with P12, P10, and P8. The Japanese driver leveraged his experience from racing in Japan and Super Formula to deliver solid results.
6. Ruiqi Liu
Meanwhile, Origine Motorsport’s Ruiqi Liu had a tough start to the season, managing P14 in Race 1, followed by a DNF in Race 2, and P19 in Race 3. His teammate, Wang Zhongwei, struggled to make progress, finishing P22, P21, and P23 in the three races.
