A pole and two podiums for Kabir Anurag at the Formula Winter Series rd.3

The only Asian on the FWS grid, Kabir Anurag, has a stellar weekend at MotorLand Aragon clinching his first pole and win of the season after a tough start to the year.

Kabir’s weekend at MotorLand Aragon began with a strong qualifying session in which he put his US Racing car in P2 for Race 1 and P1 for Race 3. He converted his P2 to a win in the first race right off the bat with a strong launch. By lap 2, he had taken the lead and kept it till the checkered flag.

His held onto his P2 start in the difficult conditions in race 2, however, he showed good pace to fight for the lead, only falling short by 0.6s. Despite having pole for race 3, the slippery conditions caught him out leading to a poor launch. From there, it was a game of managing positions and limiting damage to finish P5.
