The fourth round of the Italian F4 Championship was held at the Mugello Circuit which was a positive weekend for Akshay. Qualifying P1 and P3 in the two sessions, a mistake at the start of Race 1 pushed him back to P3. Despite this setback, he finished P2 in Race 2 and was back on the podium. Starting Race 3 in P8, he was able to move up a few places and finished in P6.

Replacing a Sainteloc driver who was out due to an injury, Yevan was quick to adapt to the new series and qualified in P12 and P13 for his debut races. He finished Race 1 in P10, getting points and also P3 in the rookies for a podium. He kept up the pace, moving up to P7 in Race 2.

Michael’s weekend started off positively, with a P3 and P7 qualifying. However, a horrendous crash in Race 1, which he escaped safely, severely damaged his car. Not letting this get in the way, he bounced back in Race 2, finishing P9 and getting a few more points for the championship.

Though qualifying might not have gone to plan for Bianca at her first British F4 weekend with a lock up during her last flying lap, she managed to turn that around during the three races. She moved up from P19 to finish P18 in Race 1, P17 in Race 2, and P8 in Race 3.

A rollercoaster of a weekend, Kai qualified P6 for the races and went on to finish Race 1 in P6. However, a spin in Race 2 pushed him from P4 to P27 which he was able to recover from and finished P13. In the last race of the weekend, he finished just outside the podium places in P4.

Dion’s weekend in Mugello had a lot of ups and downs, with qualifying in P11 and P8 putting him at an advantage for the races. However, he wasn’t able to keep the momentum going as he finished Race 1 in P15, Race 2 in P11, and Race 3 in P10 after starting in P9.

A decent weekend for Kabir, he qualified P19 for both sessions. Starting Race 1 in P18 after another driver’s grid penalty, he maintained the position till the finish line. However, an unavoidable incident ended Race 2 for him. Starting Race 3 in P17, he was able to climb some places to finish in P15, ending the weekend on a good note.

In Group B for qualifying, Zach placed P7 and P4 in the respective sessions. This meant he started Race 1 in P14 and Race 2 in P7. Gaining some places in both races, he finished P12 in Race 1 and P6 in Race 2

India won its first endurance race in 1902 and the 1911 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy. In India, motorsports gained a foothold over 6 decades ago.
British GT

For Rounds 6 & 7 at Snetterton, Sai Sanjay and his teammate, Callum Davies qualified in P7 during the first session in the GT4 category but they weren’t able to keep up the pace in the second session where they qualified P17. Despite this, they had a solid weekend, finishing P28 and P22 in the two races.

At Zandvoort for the latest round of GB3, Aditya’s weekend didn’t start off great with qualifying P20 due to damp conditions. However, he was able to turn it around during the races. He climbed up a few spots and took the chequered flag in P14 for Race 1, P12 for Race 2, and P18 for Race 3. After post-race penalties were handed out, Adi finished P10 in Race 2 and P14 in Race 3.

Despite qualifying P13 in both the Group B sessions, Alex had to start at the back of the grid for Race 1 after replacing the engine. He made a great recovery drive from P33 to finish the race in P28. However, he wasn’t able to keep up the pace in Race 2 and finished in P32 from P26.

A solid weekend for Nikhil, he qualified P10 and P9 respectively in the two Group B sessions. This put him in P19 for Race 1 and P18 for Race 2. Despite on-track battles, he took the chequered flag in P21 for Race 1 and P26 for Race 2.

IAME Series Asia Round 4

Round 4 of the IAME Series Asia was held at the Sepang Circuit. In the Cadet category, Poomsit Klombunjong won the race with a comfortable margin to Mason Kwong in P2 and Kim Minjae in P3. Conrad Garrow won the Junior category with just 3 tenths of a second to Zarief Rayqal in P2. Mark Zvarich took P3 with less than 6-tenths to P1. Mohammed Jasa, Alpesh Patel, and Benjamin Chiang shared the Master category podium while Feroz F Fauzy, Oscar Cura, and Michael Koh shared the Senior category podium.

Indian F4 Global Shootout Program

Following the inaugural season last year, the promoters of the Indian F4 Championship launched the Formula 4 Global Shootout Program at the Circuit du Var in France to welcome more drivers for the upcoming season. The three-day program saw Giancarlo Artho winning the top prize of a fully sponsored Indian F4 drive while Deko Abiakel and Zak Mohammed won the scholarships.

Former India Cricket captain Sourav Ganguly was unveiled as the owner of the debutant team, Kolkata Royal Tigers for the upcoming Indian Racing Festival 2024, which includes the Indian Racing League and F4 Indian Championship. This will be the eighth team on the grid alongside teams from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Kochi, and Ahmedabad.

Over the weekend, Round 3 of the Clash of Moto Clans saw multiple strong contenders. However, it was Team Indi Speedwagon who took the victory. Team DC Motorsport and Team Ammyfied Rallying took the 1st and 2nd Runners-up titles respectively.
