Toby’s IAME Warrior Final was less than ideal with cancelled sessions that saw him exit the championship earlier than expected. Nevertheless, he made up good ground in the heats after a qualifying session ridden with technical issues but was penalized in 2 of the heats that, combined with bad weather leading to cancelled sessions, put him out of contention to qualify for the final.

During the session, he was given a 3-place grid penalty after qualifying for impeding Van Amersfoort Racing’s John Bennett. He had contact with Kimi Antonelli during the Sprint Race which led to a DNF. And in the feature race, after 2 unluckily timed safety cars, he finished a dull P14.

Miyata’s climb through the session was slow but sure. He started the weekend in P10 in the free practice session but lost pace in between to qualify P15. He climbed to P13 in the sprint race and further to P10 in the feature, where he scored a single point.
