Formula 2

Kush Maini

Qualifying P15, Kush was able to make up a few places in the sprint race and finished P11. In the feature race, he was able to maintain his position and finished P15.

Ritomo Miyata

Though qualifying didn’t go as per plan for Ritomo with his best lap time enough for P17, he was able to make up some places in both the races and finished the sprint race in P13 and the feature race in P14.

Formula 3

Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak

For the last round of the 2024 F3 season, Tasanapol qualified P6 in the split-qualifying session. For the sprint race, he started in P6 after he was given a 4-place grid penalty for multiple cars slowing down during qualifying. Despite everything that went wrong during this race, he managed to take the chequered flag in P21. For the feature race, he was able to maintain his starting position and finished P11.

Rallye Terre de Lozère

Pragathi Gowda continued her hot form in her maiden international gravel rally experience on Sunday. The Rallye Terre de Lozere, a round of the French national championship, which hosted 126 participants from across the world saw Pragathi finish 15th in Rally 5 class and 53rd overall with a timing of 1:42:03.7.

 

Rotax Max Euro Trophy

Atiqa Asif Mir

For the last round of the RMC Euro Trophy, Atiqa finished Heat 1 in P17, Heat 2 in P19 after a crash, and Heat 3 in P11. For the pre-finals, she finished in P14. However, qualifying for the finals wasn’t her best of the weekend and the P33 start put her on the back foot. Despite this, she was able to finish P29 in the finals and placed 41st in the championship with 87 points.

Indian Racing League

The inaugural Chennai Night Race finally kicked off after weather cancellations last year. Gabriela Jilkova became the first female polesitter in IRL history after qualifying P1 in the Driver A session, while Alvaro Parente took pole in the Driver B session.

Raoul Hyman won Race 1 with Gabriela Jilkova and Alister Yoong joining the podium.

Alvaro Parente won Race 2 with Rishon Rajeev and Ruhaan Alva in P2 and P3 respectively.

F4 Indian Championship

The two qualifying sessions of Round 2 saw the return of Round 1 polesitter Hugh Barter and the second polesitter of this season, Divy Nandan.

Hugh Barter went on to win Race 1, with Ruhaan Alva and Abhay Mohan joining the podium.

Race 2 saw Aqil Alibhai win from P3 as he beat Divy Nandan by less than 3-tenths of a second. Jaden Pariat joined them on the podium.

JK Tyre LGB F4

Neythan McPherson started on Pole with T.S. Diljith and N. Datta in P2-P3. The safety car was deployed after a stunning lap 1. T.S. Diljith beat polesitter Neythan McPherson to win the race by less than a second gap. Tijil Rao joined them on the podium.

Malaysian Karting Championship

Round 2 of the MAM Asia Karting/Malaysian Karting Championship took place over the weekend.

Cadet :

Sahil Singh of Stratos RL took the chequered flag first, beating Michael Lederer of Fireball Motorsports by just 6-tenths of a second . Leeloo A. Freihuber of City Kart Racing joined them on the podium

Junior :

Ethan Seto finished P1 and was joined by Easton Yong Shun Wei and Esteban Freihuber on the podium.

Open :

Ahmad Hadri Harris, Farid Hakimi, and Thomas Ong Swee Sin took the chequered flag with just over a second separating the trio.

Senior & Masters/Veteran :

Lucas Leong beat L. Morgan by just 2-tenths of a second and the duo was joined by Iskandar Ahmad Hadri on the podium.

The Rotax Max Challenge Thailand.

Micro Max :

Final: Chinnaphat Vejabhuti took the victory with Jun Karato and Chayakorn Meenakanith joining the podium.

Mini Max :

Final: Patthapol Keawkanjanasate stood on the top step as Peerapongpan Sutumno and Poomsit Klombunjong finished in P2 and P3 respectively within half a second to the leader.

Junior Max :

Final: Toby Gale stood on the top step with Panyakorn Aramrassamee and Panu Stienmonkong in P2 and P3 respectively as the trio took the chequered flag with less than a second separating them.

Senior Max :

Final: Austin Gale won the final race with Feroz F Fauzy and Siri Kongsiri joining the podium.

DD2 Max Masters :

Final: Chen Ping Hao was joined by Scott John Howard and Jeremy Nyam You Kuan in the final podium of the DD2 Max Masters category
